Reagan Womack
Hey there! I'm Reagan Womack, owner of Atlantis Equestrian and Sirens' Song Fantasy Equine. Atlantis Equestrian (AEC) and Sirens' Song Fantasy Equine (SSF) are model horse sire/dam lists. This website is for hobby and educational purposes and the horses listed on my sire/dam lists are models, not actual horses. I started collecting model horses when I was around 6 years old and my obsession with horses has just grown since then. I have been a member of IPABRA since 2016 and have been active in the Pedigree Assignment section of the model horse hobby since 2014. I joined The Board in 2020 and am still working on building my string of competition horses. Most of the models listed on this site participate in monthly photo shows through IPABRA (done on Smugmug), MHOSS, and OMHPS. I still live show occasionally, however I do not have shows close by. I'm starting to register some of my models with the All Breed Model Horse Registry to promote quality in my stock.
Atlantis Equestrian is settled in the foothills of North Carolina. Sirens' Song Fantasy Equine is located in the mountains of North Carolina but many of them originate and were bred from all around the world!
I am currently a college student at Lenoir-Rhyne University so that takes priority over my hobby but I do try to at least reply within a few days of receiving an email. I have recently changed my major to chemistry in hopes to build my foundation in physical chemistry. After getting my undergrad, I plan on attending NC State to get a PhD in Genetics or Comparative Biomedical Sciences. I am currently prototyping and finalizing my senior research plan that I hope to conduct in the summer of 2023! You can find my current research proposal at the bottom of this page. While my senior research does not deal directly with horses, horses got me thinking about the topics involved in my research to begin with. I hope that I can get some insight into a specific approach that could be used to treat conditions caused by genetic mutations through this research.
I've always loved animals! I used to want to become a vet but then I realized that it's very hard for me to see an animal suffering or in pain. My friends always joke and say that my house is a zoo. I currently have 3 dogs - Frank, a 10 year-old lab/walker hound mix; Olive, a chihuahua puppy; and Ozzy, an AKC certified corgi puppy (my dad is finally checking that one off the bucket list lol) - and 2 cats - Oscar (aka Doodle) and Emmy.

I used to think my favorite horses reflected me being a hunter jumper but I don't think that's the case anymore!
