One way to start looking for real horses to breed from is by looking at top quality stock from real horse registries. Oftentimes, breedings from these horses are closed to members of that organization or restricted in general. I like to find that horse's pedigree on allbreedpedigree.com and then click around on their offspring or ancestors until I think I find a good match! Have a breed to add?Comment below or CONTACT ME!

Below is a list of documents provided by Atlantis Equestrian. If it is stated that I provide a document that doesn't have an example here, it is because I have not yet created one of those types of documents. I still provide them and will gladly make one for you, I just don't have an example for you at this time.
Photos and CopyrightAll photos listed on the Atlantis Equestrian website, associated websites, and documents created by Atlantis Equestrian are taken by Reagan Womack.
Not all are watermarked but if you find someone improperly using one of my photos without my permission, please let me know ASAP. CONTACT ME Photos requested at time of breeding will be properly credited if/when they are used. These photos are used in a horse’s list of progeny as well as bloodstock classes through IPABRA’s Online Photo Show. If you do not wish to give me permission to use your photos in this way, there is no need to send me any of these photos. If you would like a photo to only be used on the breeding certificate provided, please mention that in your request and that will be the only thing that photo is used for. The list below is only for the breeds currently housed at Atlantis Equestrian. If a certain breed isn’t listed, either there are no naming guidelines or that breed is not at Atlantis Equestrian. Use “Ctrl+F” to easily search and find what you’re looking for. If a horse doesn’t meet breeding (not conformation) guidelines and requirements by their registry, I will let you know and give you suggestions on how to resolve the issue. Because oftentimes we are trying to assign generic bodies to certain breeds for the sole purpose of expanding our stock, I don’t look at conformation when analyzing a breeding. I do, however, look at Color Genetics, requirements for Registry Approval, and Allowed Colors within a breed. If your horse does not follow these, I will help you fix it. Don’t stress too much over these guidelines as most of them are very broad. If you are unsure about a breed (especially part-bred registries such as NASD and Pintabian registries), don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
These are the registries that I use but if you live in a different country, you may use a different registry. If you follow different registry guidelines, let me know so that I can make note of it and add that registry to my master list of registries. For a more in-depth list with real horse studs and broodmares, look for my “Looking for Parents?” document linked on my website. |
